q   Not in the case of engine codes CBFA, CCTA, CCTB
2 - Seal
q   Renew.
3 - Bolt
q   Renew.
q   Tightening sequence → Fig..
4 - Lower part of sump
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
5 - Bolt
q   9 Nm
6 - Baffle plate
q   Renew.
7 - Securing bolts for sump.
q   Specified torque:
   M6 = 9 Nm
   M8 = 20 Nm
8 - Oil pump
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
9 - Centring sleeve
10 - Chain tensioner
11 - Bolt
q   9 Nm
12 - Bolt
q   Only engine codes CCZA, CCZB, CCZC, CCZD, CDAA, CDAB
q   9 Nm
13 - Oil pressure control valve -N428-
q   Only engine codes CCZA, CCZB, CCZC, CCZD, CDAA, CDAB
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
14 - O-ring

q   Renew.
15 - Drive chain for oil pump
q   Mark direction of rotation before removing.
16 - Seal
q   Renew.
17 - Coarse oil separator
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
18 - Bolt
q   Tightening sequence → Fig..
19 - Upper part of sump
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
20 - Bolt
q   9 Nm
21 - Bolt
q   Renew.
q   Tightening sequence → Fig..
22 - Oil suction pipe
q   Clean strainer if soiled.
23 - O-ring

26 - Non-return valve
27 - Oil drain plug
q   30 Nm
28 - Nut

Tightening sequence for sump (bottom section)
–  Tighten bolts in sequence -1 to 20- in 3 stages as follows:
1 - Tighten bolts hand tight.
2 - Tighten bolts to 8 Nm.
3 - Turn bolts 45° further

Tightening sequence for sump (top section)
–  Tighten bolts in sequence -1 to 14- in 3 stages as follows:
1 - Tighten bolts hand tight.
2 - Tighten bolts to 15 Nm.
3 - Turn bolts 90° further.

–  Tighten bolts in the sequence -1 … 9- to 9 Nm.
