1 - Eccentric bolt
q   Check wheel alignment whenever this component is loosened → Chapter.
q   Do not turn more than 90° in either direction (i.e. from minimum to maximum adjustment position).
2 - Nut
q   95 Nm
q   Self-locking
q   Can be loosened and tightened up to 5 times for adjustment work
q   Always renew after removing.
q   Always tighten threaded connections in unladen position → Chapter
3 - Eccentric washer
q   Inner hole with lug
4 - Eccentric bolt
q   Check wheel alignment whenever this component is loosened → Chapter.
q   Do not turn more than 90° in either direction (i.e. from minimum to maximum adjustment position).
5 - Eccentric washer
q   Inner hole with lug
6 - Nut
q   95 Nm
q   Self-locking
q   Can be loosened and tightened up to 5 times for adjustment work
q   Always renew after removing.
q   Always tighten threaded connections in unladen position → Chapter
  Note
t  To tighten nuts, set torque wrench -V.A.G 1332- to 80 Nm.
t  This torque setting only applies in conjunction with 18 mm tool insert -T10179-

q   90 Nm + 90° further
q   Always renew after removing.
9 - Lower transverse link
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
10 - Nut
q   90 Nm + 90° further
q   Self-locking
q   Always renew after removing.
q   Always tighten threaded connections in unladen position → Chapter
11 - Bolt
q   Always renew after removing.
12 - Threaded rivet
q   M6
13 - Spreader rivet
14 - Stone deflector
15 - Hexagon bolt
q   8 Nm
16 - Nut
q   Self-locking
q   Always renew after removing.
q   Always tighten threaded connections in unladen position → Chapter
17 - Washer
18 - Bolt
q   130 Nm + 90° further
q   Always renew after removing.
q   Always tighten threaded connections in unladen position → Chapter
19 - Washer
20 - Upper transverse link
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
21 - Washer
22 - Nut
q   Self-locking
q   Always renew after removing.
23 - Wheel bearing housing
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
24 - Washer
25 - Bolt
q   130 Nm + 90° further
q   Always renew after removing.
q   Always tighten threaded connections in unladen position → Chapter
26 - Track rod
q   Open side downwards
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
27 - Bolt
q   90 Nm + 90° further
q   Always renew after removing.
28 - Bolt
q   Always renew after removing.
q   Always tighten threaded connections in unladen position → Chapter
29 - Nut
q   90 Nm + 90° further
q   Self-locking
