Removing and installing drive side entry light in exterior mirrorW52

Removing and installing drive side entry light in exterior mirror -W52-

Note

t	Removing and installing the entry lights does not involve removing the exterior mirror.

t	The procedure for removal and installation of the entry light on the driver and front passenger side is the same and is therefore described for one side only.

Removing:

–	Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

–	Remove mirror glass → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.66.

Remove both securing bolts -arrows-.

–	Release fastener -arrow- and lower slightly lower part of mirror housing.

–	Carefully push entry light -1- upwards out of lower part of mirror housing.

–	Pull bulb holder -1- backwards out of entry light -2-.

Installing:

Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing observe the following:
