Steering column with long adapter sleeve

1 Splined adapter sleeve (long) P/N 191 419 514

2 Compression spring

3 Thrust ring

Note

The long adapter sleeve presses directly on the compression spring so the washer and contact ring (3 and 5 in Fig. 48-605) are eliminated.

Along with the introduction of the longer adapter sleeve, the upper steering column diameter changed:

dimension a = 20 mm (earlier version) 22 mm (later version)

Only the 22 mm steering column will be available as a replacement part after supplies of the 20 mm column are depleted.
