check lock function

Rear door lock plastic sleeve, installing

Part required

Plastic sleeve part number 178 839 149

Work sequence

Rear door lock assembly with plastic sleeve (arrow), L/S shown

-

take out hex head screws and partially remove lock

-

remove any burrs from activating finger before installing plastic sleeve

-

install door latch plastic sleeve (arrow), on activating finger

-

reinstall door lock

-

adjust striker pin if required

-

check lock function
