Hood Latch Release: Service and Repair

Hood Operating Lever

Removing

-

Pull the operating lever - 2 - and unlock the hood. 

-

Insert a small screwdriver into gap between operating lever -  2 - and clip - 3 -.

-

Pry the clip - 3 - out of the lever - 2 - -  arrow - and then remove the lever from the bracket - 1 -. 

Remove the lower trim on the A-pillar to work on the bracket.
