Trunk / Liftgate Striker: Adjustments

Rear Lid Striker Pin, Adjusting

‹› Loosen the bolts - 1 - and slide the rear lid catch -  2 - in the oversized holes - arrows a and b -.

‹› Adjust latch bracket - 2 - so that recess of rear lid lock with detent engages at center on latch bracket - 2 -.

Remove the lock carrier cover.

-

Loosen bolts - 1 -.

-

Bring the striker pin - 2 - into the top position and tighten the bolts - 1 -.

-

Close rear lid and check adjustment.

-

Screw - 1 - tightening specification: 18 Nm.
