Remove the wiring harness from the bracket on the longitudinal member so that it can be removed together with the steering gear.

Remove the footwell trim panel - 1 -.

-

Remove the bolt - 1 - and remove the universal joint -  2 - from the steering gear.

-

Remove the front wheels.

-

Remove lower noise insulation.

-

Disconnect the connector from the oil level thermal sensor (G266) and remove the wire on the subframe.

Remove exhaust system bracket from subframe - arrows -.
