Center Console, Basis, from MY 2009

Removing

-

Switch off ignition.

Vehicles with automatic transmission

-

Loosen boot from cover.

Vehicles with manual transmission and Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG)

-

Loosen boot from cover.

All vehicles

-

Remove parking brake lever trim.

-

Remove the trim from the center in the instrument panel (from MY 2009). Refer to => [ Instrument Panel Center Trim, from MY 2009 ] See:

Remove the trim around the A/C and heater controls (from MY 2009). Refer to => [ A/C and Heater Control Trim, from MY 2009 ] See: Utility

Remove the center cover (from MY 2009). Refer to => [ Center Cover, from MY 2009 ] See: Utility Storage Compartment/Service and
Repair/Center Cover, From MY 2009

Remove the two lining mats - 2 - from extension -  4 -.

-

Remove lining mat - 5 - from center console.

-

Remove the "AUX IN socket" - 1 -, if equipped.

-

Remove the three bolts - 3 - (1.5 Nm).

-

Loosen extension from mounts.

-

Pull parking brake lever extension forward through opening.
