Cleaning

CAUTION!
 Do not use compressed air to blow on the brake system, the dust produced is harmful to your health!

Contact surfaces between the brake pads and brake carrier must be cleaned and remove any corrosion.

Clean the brake caliper.

Use only appropriate solvents for cleaning the brake caliper.

Installing

Before pushing back the piston, extract some of the brake fluid out of the brake fluid reservoir using a bleeder bottle. Otherwise, especially if
reservoir has been topped off, fluid will overflow and cause damage.

Push the piston in using the knurled knob on the ( T 10165 ) by turning it toward the right. Do not damage the protective caps.

Use (T 10165/1) also.

‹› For pistons that are difficult to move, an open end wrench (13 mm) can be used on the appropriate wrench surface - arrow A -.

Install the brake pad anti-rattle springs - arrows - and brake pads into the brake carrier.
