Bearing Shell

‹› For bearings 1, 2, 4 and 5.

‹› Do not interchange used bearing shells (mark them).

Bolt

‹› 65 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

‹› Replace

‹› Tighten to 65 Nm to measure radial play, but do not tighten further.

Bearing Cap

‹› Bearing cap 1: belt pulley side.

‹› Bearing cap 3: with notches for thrust washers.

‹› Retaining tabs on bearing shells and cylinder block/bearing caps must lie above one another.
