Engine Accessory Bracket: Service and Repair

Accessory Bracket

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Engine Support Bridge (10 - 222 A)

Removing

-

Remove the engine mount bracket. Refer to => [ Engine Mount Bracket ] See: Engine Mount/Service and Repair.

Remove the high pressure pump. Refer to => [ High Pressure Pump ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel
Pump/Service and Repair/High Pressure Pump.

Remove the generator.

CAUTION!
The Air Conditioning (A/C) refrigerant circuit must not be opened.

Remove the A/C compressor from the accessory bracket and secure it to the lock carrier.

-

Remove the idler rollers - 1 and 2 - and remove the bolt - arrow - for the toothed belt guard.

Remove the bolts - 6 through 1 - and remove the accessory bracket.
