Clamping Sleeve

‹› Tighten the threaded connections evenly. Tightening specification and installed position. Refer to => [ Clamping Sleeve Installed Position ]

‹› Align the exhaust system free of stress. Refer to => [ Exhaust System, Installing ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Exhaust

Nut

‹› Tighten the nuts evenly. Tightening specification and installed position. Refer to => [ Clamping Sleeve Installed Position ] See: Service and

Repair/Procedures.

Installing the Seal between Exhaust Flap Control Module and Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) Reservoir or Reduction Catalytic Converter

Insert the seal - 2 - with the angled tab -  B - in the notch - A - on the NOx reservoir or reduction catalytic converter - 1 -.

Insert the exhaust flap manifold - 3 - with the retaining tab - C - in the notch - A -. 

Installed Position of the Clamp between the Exhaust Flap Control Module and NOx Reservoir or Reduction Catalytic Converter

Install the new clamp so the bolt is opposite the exhaust flap control module housing and the - 45° ± 10° - angle is maintained.
