Disconnect the connector - arrow - and remove the emergency flasher switch - 1 -.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Trim removal wedge (VAS 3409)

‹› When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool (trim removal

wedge, screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

‹› Removal and installation for both footwell lights is performed in the same way and is only described for one light.

Removing:

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

Pry out footwell light from trim underneath the glove compartment using trim removal wedge or a screwdriver.
