Fuel Gauge Sender: Service and Repair

Fuel Level Sensor

Removing

-

Remove the fuel delivery unit. Refer to => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel
Pump/Service and Repair/Fuel Delivery Unit.

Disengage the connector prongs of the wires - 3 and 4 - and disconnect.

-

Pry up the retaining tabs - 1 and  - using a screwdriver and remove the fuel level sensor downward - arrows -. 

Installing

-

Install the fuel level sensor into the guides on the fuel delivery unit and push it upward until it engages.
