Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

Removing:

‹› It is not necessary to disconnect the battery ground cable.

‹› Removing and installing the left headlamp is shown in the illustrations. Removing and installing the right headlamp is identical.

‹› Always adjust a headlamp after installing.

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

-

Remove radiator grille.

-

Remove front bumper cover.

-

Disengage and disconnect the multi-pin connector - 1 -. 

-

Remove the screw - 2 - on the back of the headlamp. 

-

Remove three mounting bolts - arrows -.
