Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Check headlamp for function.

Check the fog lamp position and adjust if necessary.

Fog Lamp, GTI

‹› Illustrations depict removal and installation of left fog lamp.

Removing:

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

-

Remove front bumper cover.

-

Disengage and disconnect harness connector - 1 -. 

-

Remove both screws - 2 -.

-

Move the fog lamp - 1 - slightly down and pull it out of the bumper cover in direction of - arrow -.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
