Remove the drive axle. Refer to => [ Drive Axle ]. See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear
Suspension/All Wheel Drive (AWD)/Drive Axle

Remove brake carrier and brake caliper and tie to body with wire.

‹› Do not allow brake caliper to hang from brake line.

-

Remove brake disc screw and take out brake disc.

-

Remove bolts - 2 -.

-

Remove wheel hub/wheel bearing unit from wheel bearing housing. 

Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal, with special attention to the following:

Tighten the new bolt. Refer to => [ Drive Axle Twelve-Point Bolt, Loosening and Tightening ] See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Service
and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Suspension/All Wheel Drive (AWD).
