Fuel Filter Lower Section

Removing

-

Open the quick release fasteners - A and B - for the fuel line.

-

Open the clamps and remove the fuel hoses - item 5 -=> [ Fuel Line ] See: Fuel Filter Assembly Overview and - item 6 -=> [ Fuel Line ] See: Fuel

Unclip the bracket for the coolant hose - 1 -.

Remove the bolts. Refer to - item 10 -=> [ Bolt/Nut ] See: Fuel Filter Assembly Overview.

Remove the fuel filter lower section upward.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order. When doing this note the following:

‹› Route the fuel hoses kink free.

‹› Ensure the fuel hoses are securely seated.

‹› Do not interchange the supply and return lines (the return line is blue or has a blue mark, the supply line is white or has a white mark).

‹› Clip the fuel and coolant hoses back into the retainers.
