Shift Cable: Service and Repair

Selector Lever and Mechanism with Cable, from 03.2009

Short Description

The selector mechanism and the selector lever cable cannot be separated from each other. Both are removed at the same time. It may be necessary to
create some open space in the engine compartment. Many times it is necessary to remove the air filter housing.

In the vehicle interior, it may be necessary to remove the center console.

‹› After installation, the cable must be checked for ease of movement and must be adjusted.

Place the selector lever in the "P" position.

Remove the center console.

-

Remove the 4 bolts.
