Eccentric Bolt

‹› After loosening, perform vehicle alignment. Refer to => [ Wheel Alignment ] See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Wheel Alignment.

‹› Do not turn more than 90° right or left (that is smallest to largest possible adjustment).

Eccentric Washer

‹› Inner bore with tab.

Nut

‹› 95 Nm

‹› Self-locking

‹› When adjusting, can be loosened and tightened up to 5 times.

‹› Always replace after removal.

‹› Always tighten threaded connections in curb weight position. Refer to => [ Rear Axle in Curb Weight Position ]. See: Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Suspension/All Wheel Drive (AWD)/Rear Axle In Curb Weight Position

‹› Adjust torque wrench (V.A.G 1332) to 80 Nm when tightening nut.

‹› This tightening specification does only apply in conjunction with insert tool 18 (T10179)
