V.A.G 1331 Torque wrench 5 to 50 Nm (3.7 to 37 ft. lbs.), or equivalent

VAS 5024 tool for spring clamps or V.A.G 1921 pincers for spring clamps
Note:

Always replace seals and gaskets.
^
It is not necessary to the lower part of the camshaft drive belt guard.

The camshaft drive belt should be left in position on the crankshaft sprocket.
