Measure supply voltage between test box sockets 2 + 3 using multimeter and adapter cables from VW1594:
Specified value: at least 11.5 V
If the specified value is not obtained:

Check wiring connections to relay plate according to wiring diagram.

Check DTC memory. If necessary, repair any malfunctions and erase DTC memory checking and erasing DTC memory.

Measure supply voltage between test box sockets 1 + 2 using multimeter and auxiliary cables from VW1594.

Turn on ignition.
Specified value: min. 11.5 V
If the specified value is not obtained:

Check wiring connections to relay plate according to wiring diagram.

Check DTC memory. If necessary, repair any malfunctions and erase DTC memory.
