VAG 1390 Hand vacuum pump
Requirements

No malfunctions stored in DTC memory
-
Final control diagnosis performed, Adapting functions and components.
-
Vacuum lines and hose unions must not leak.
-
Vacuum lines not blocked or kinked.
Work sequence
-
Remove engine cover.
-
Remove vacuum hose -1- from Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Solenoid Valve -N112- -2-.
-
Connect hand pump VAG 1390 to vacuum hose-i-.
Note:
Do not use compressed air during the following check!

Remove pressure hose -1- from secondary air pump motor and blow in with slight pressure (arrow).
Combination valve must be closed.
-
Operate hand vacuum pump.
Valve must open
