Disconnect battery ground (GND) strap before working on the electrical system.
Removing
NOTE:
-
Obtain radio unit code before disconnecting battery.

Screwdriver with thin blade must be used to prevent damaging trim and grip recess because separating joint is very tight.
-
Do not grasp in grip depression when pulling off grip recess as a strut secured to door trim is underneath.

Insert flat blade screwdriver into lower separating joint between trim -1- and grip recess -2- and carefully pry trim off toward door.

Unclip grip recess -2- out of door trim upward. Do not grip in depression to prevent damage to strut -1-.

Press locking lug against connector -3- -arrow- and pull off.
