remove left side trim panel in luggage compartment

-

unhook retaining strap

-

remove bi-pressure pump from housing

-

pull off hose

-

pull off electrical connector

-

remove bi-pressure pump

Bi-pressure pump, installing

Work sequence

-

reinstall all components in reverse order

-

reconnect battery ground strap

-

turn key in drivers door to check central locking system for proper function

Master activator, removing

The drivers door lock activator contains the master switch which operates the bi-pressure pump.

Work sequence

-

disconnect battery ground strap

-

open door

-

remove drivers door trim panel

-

partially pull off plastic moisture barrier

-

remove master activator mounting screws (arrows)

-

pull off electrical connector

-

unhook connecting rod

-

remove master activator
