To reduce friction and shifting effort, relay shaft now has plastic ball which can rotate freely and selector lever has been modified to suit..

In place of special white grease, G6.2 MoS2 grease is used to lubricate moving parts and joints of shift linkage.

when repairing shift linkage, install both relay shaft and selector lever and use new sealing washer, Part No. 171 711 965

lubricate all moving parts and joints with G6.2 grease

Note

Remove any white grease before using G6.2 grease on shift linkage pieces.
