connect voltage tester US 1115 to terminal 4 and 6

-

actuate starter and check signal from Hall sender

LED must flicker

IF NO, check Hall sender

-

switch ignition OFF

-

connect connector to Hall TCI control unit

-

remove connector from Hall sender on distributor

-

connect test leads to terminal 1 (-) and terminal 15 (+) of the ignition coil

-

switch ignition ON

specified value: min. 2 volts, within 2 seconds must drop to 0

IF NO:

-

replace TCI-Hall control unit

-

check ignition coil for fluid leakage, replace coil if necessary

-

touch center wire of disconnected Hall sender to ground

-

displayed voltage value must briefly rise to min. 2 volts.
