IF NO:

in HT, no ground on terminal 11 in connector for electronic control unit

^

electronic ignition control unit defective

Hall Sender, Checking

Note

Check required only if ignition spark is not present.

-

remove connector from Hall TCI control unit (in glove box) and connect voltage tester US 1115 to terminals 4 and 6

-

actuate starter and check signal from Hall sender

If LED flickers, Hall sender is OK and test is complete

IF NO, continue with test:

-

remove connector from Hall sender (on distributor)

-

connect voltage tester US 1115 to outer connector of plug and, with ignition ON, check voltage supply from electronic ignition control unit to Hall
sender.

LED must light up

push up rubber sleeve on Hall sender connector
