To eliminate the front door window glass from either binding or coming out of the window channel in certain vehicles produced before VIN FV042635,
a new revised window channel with a glass support tab affixed (arrow) must be installed.

Work sequence

-

Remove door trim panel

-

Partially remove plastic air moisture barrier

-

Remove door glass from regulator, and let it sit in door bottom

CAUTION

Partially remove window channel weatherstrip

-

Remove old window channel

-

Install revised window channel

-

Re-install plastic air moisture barrier

-

Re-install door trim panel
