New Part Identifier for the Post Oxygen Sensor
Effective immediately, the following new Part Identifier for the Post Oxygen Sensor should be utilized for all vehicles equipped with the OBD II engine
management system.
There are two oxygen sensors on all vehicles equipped with the OBD II system. The post oxygen sensor (after the converter), and the pre-oxygen sensor
(prior to the converter).
Post Oxygen Sensor:
PI 2473
Pre Oxygen Sensor:
PI 2469
It is of utmost importance that the correct Part Identifier be used when submitting warranty claims for these components.
