Condition

Transmission Will Not Shift into Reverse or is Difficult to Shift In/Out of Reverse at Times

Technical Background

May be caused by an incorrectly dimensioned slot on the selector shaft (with reverse gear brake) on transmissions produced between 07075 and 01017.

Tip:  Procedure can be done with transmission installed in vehicle.- Remove clutch cable.
