Condition

Some vehicles with daytime running lights can experience loss of instrument cluster illumination if driven for extended durations.

This is caused by a reduction in tension between the bulb holder contacts and the bulb holder housing.

Service

Replace original instrument cluster housing with 1996 version, which offers improved tension between the bulb holder contacts and bulb holder housing.
