Check the hose connecting the EVAP Canister Purge Regulator Valve (N80) (Figure 1) to the EVAP Canister. If it is clear hard plastic, replace with
hose Part No. 535 201 179 (remove 100 mm from the straight end of the replacement hose before installation).

USE HOSE CLAMPS:

Part No. N024 528 1 at EVAP Canister Purge Regulator Valve end

Part No. N101 393 01 at EVAP Canister end

EGR VACUUM REGULATOR SOLENOID VALVE

EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Valve (N18) hose routing modifications are also necessary to ensure that valve pulsations do not transmit into the
vehicle.

Re-route the EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Valve-to-EGR valve hose and the EVAP Canister-to-fuel tank hose as shown in Figure 3.

Secure the EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Valve-to-EGR Valve hose to the vacuum source hose using retainer
