Parking Assist Distance Sensor: Service and Repair

Sensor For Parking Assistance, Rear, Removing And Installing 

The following four sensors are located in rear bumper cover.

Left Rear Parking Aid Sensor G203

-

Left Rear Center Parking Aid Sensor G204

-

Right Rear Center Parking Aid Sensor G205

-

Right Rear Parking Aid Sensor G206

NOTE:  Removal and installation of sensors for parking assistance is performed in the same way for all sensors and is only described for one sensor in
the following.

Removing: 

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

-

Remove rear bumper cover.

-

Disconnect electrical connection -arrow-.

-

Disengage retaining tabs -arrows- and remove sensor from bumper cover.

Installing: 
Install in reverse order of removal.
