Disengage connectors -2- and disconnect them from Towing Recognition Control Module J345.

NOTE:  The number of harness connectors Towing Recognition Control Module J345 can deviate from the illustration depending on vehicle
equipment.

Remove mounting bolts -1- and remove Towing Recognition Control Module J345 with bracket out of vehicle.

-

Remove mounting bolts -arrows- and remove Towing Recognition Control Module J345 from bracket.

Installing: 
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

Tighten all threaded connections using the specified torques.

NOTE:  After installing a new Towing Recognition Control Module J345, it must be coded.

Coding Towing Recognition Control Module J345

Connect Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A.

-

In Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051A, select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding".

-

Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:
