Fluid Filter - A/T: Service and Repair

Change oil and filter 02E, 6 Speed Direct Shift A/T

-

Follow sequence of each of the following instructions until oil change is completed.

-

Connect VAS tester and identify vehicle in Guided Fault Finding.

-

Direct shift Transmission

-

Check oil level

-

Engine off - do not start!

Only start engine when requested to do so. Not right now.

-

Place drip tray VAG 1306 underneath transmission.

-

Connect VW Tester and press Check oil level in Guided Function.

-

Slowly remove filter housing.

-

Before removing filter housing from transmission, tip it slightly in its seating.

This allows oil to flow back into transmission from filter housing.
