Leak Detection Pump: Service and Repair

Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144, Rabbit/GTI With Engine Code BPY, Removing And Installing 

Removing: 

-

Remove right rear wheel housing liner.

-

Disconnect vacuum line -1-.

-

Disconnect electrical connector -2-.

-

Disconnect vent line -3- by pressing release button.

-

Remove nuts -arrows-.

-

Disengage diagnostic pump with bracket.

Installing:
Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

-

Vent line -3- must engage audibly.

-

Install right rear wheel housing liner.
