Remove positive wire -1- and disconnect harness connector of terminal 50 -2-.

Remove upper mounting bolt for starter -arrow-.

-

Remove lower mounting bolt for starter -arrow-.

-

Remove starter upward and out of vehicle.

Installing: 
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

Tighten all threaded connections using the specified torques.

Vehicles with 3.2 L fuel injection engine, Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG)
