Variable Valve Timing Actuator: Service and Repair
Camshaft Adjustment Valve
Removing
GTI

Remove charge air guide leading to the noise generator.
All
-
Disconnect connector from camshaft adjustment valve 1 - 1 -.
-
Remove bolts - arrows - and then camshaft adjustment valve 1.
Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Coat sealing ring and O-ring with engine oil.
