License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair

License Plate Lamp

Bulb, removing and installing:

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

-

Remove bolts - arrows - for the license plate lamp.

-

Remove diffusion lens with bulb from license plate lamp housing.

-

Press contact plate in direction of arrow and remove bulb.

Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following:

NOTE:  On the lens of the license plate lamp a small silver-colored glare-blocking strip - arrow - is applied. When installing the lens, this must always
face toward the bumper.
