Headlamp Alignment Sensor: Service and Repair
Left Rear HID Level Control System Sensor

Left Rear HID Level Control System Sensor

A vehicle level sensor is located at front axle (Left Front Level Control System Sensor G78) and (Left Rear Level Control System Sensor G76) is located
at rear axle.

NOTE:

-

If the vehicle level sensors are replaced, the values of the sensor must be checked and basic setting of headlamps must be performed

-

If values of vehicle level sensors are outside the tolerance range, basic setting of headlamps cannot be performed.

Removing

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

-

Disconnect connector - arrow -.

-

Remove mounting bolts - 1 - and remove Left Rear Level Control System Sensor G76 - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

Tighten all threaded connections to the specification

-

Check Left Rear Level Control System Sensor G76

-

Perform basic setting of headlamp

NOTE:

-

If the vehicle level sensors are replaced, the values of the sensor must be checked and basic setting of headlamps must be performed

If values of vehicle level sensors are outside the tolerance range, basic setting of headlamps cannot be performed.
