Body Control Module: Service and Repair

Comfort System Central Control Module

Removing

-

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

-

Remove glove compartment

-

Pull the retaining tab - 1 - on the comfort system central control module J393 bracket in the - direction of the arrow - and slide the control module
until the openings - 2 - are aligned above the openings - 3 -.

NOTE:  Electrical connections can only be disengaged and disconnected when recesses - arrows - and bracket line up exactly.

Release and disconnect electrical connections from Comfort System Central Control Module J393.

NOTE:  The number of electrical connections depends on vehicle equipment level and market version.

Remove the nuts - arrows -.

-

Remove bracket with Comfort System Central Control Module J393.
