Noises coming from the rear of the center console may be the result of improperly tightened fasteners.

Service

If a vehicle exhibits this condition and was built prior to VIN 3VW_ _ _ _ _ _TM074837:

Remove Covers -C-.

-

Remove phillips head screws -1-.

-

Pull off center console rear cover -A-.

-

Check Torque of nuts -D-.

Tightening torque: 7 +/- 2 Nm (62 +/- 18 in. lb)

-

Reassemble in reverse order of removal.
