Position standard needle-nose pliers at side between B-pillar - 1 - and steel clip - 2 -.

-

Disengage locking mechanism of steel clip - 2 - by forcefully pushing together using needle-nose pliers - arrows

-

Remove steel clip - 2 - from B-pillar - 1 -.

NOTE:  It is not possible to remove steel clip - 2 - without destroying it, it must be replaced
