Change to display group 56 as follows:

Press C key.

Press keys 0, 5 and 6 for "Display group number 56" and confirm entry with Q key.

Indicated on display:(1 to 4 = Display zones)

Check the operating mode in display zone 4

Check the specified idling speed in display zone 2.

Specification: 
Manual transmission 760 RPM
Automatic transmission 700 RPM

-

Check idling speed in display zone 1.

Specification:
Manual transmission 700 to 820 RPM
Automatic transmission 640 to 760 RPM

NOTE:  During idling check the EVAP canister purge regulator valve and the air conditioner are switched off and the oxygen sensor control learning
procedure is initiated.

Press -> key.

-

Press keys 0 and 6 for the "End data transfer" function and confirm input with the Q key.

If the idling speed is not obtained:

-

Adapt the engine control module to the throttle valve control module, Refer to "Engine Control Module, Adapting to Throttle Valve Control
Module" See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Engine Control Module/Service and Repair

Carry out test drive.

Observe the valid safety precautions when carrying out a road test See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Service

Again check the control module DTC memory.

Repeat the idling check.

If the specifications are not obtained again:

Check throttle valve control module. See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Electronic Throttle Control Module/Testing
and Inspection

Check the operating condition of engine. Refer to "Scan Tool Testing/With Manufacturer's Scan Tool/Engine Operating Mode Check", See:

Checking

Check the intake air system for unmetered air. Refer to "Computers And Control Systems.Testing and Inspection/Procedures/Component
