Press keys 0, 3 and 4 for "Display group number 34" and confirm entry with Q key.

Indicated on display: (1...4 = Display zones)

Depress brake pedal and hold.

-

Press accelerator pedal to wide open throttle position.
The engine speed is increased by the control module to 1800...2200 rpm.

-

Maintain engine speed at 1800...2200 rpm until display in display zone 4 jumps from "Test OFF" to "Test ON". Catalyst temperature in display
zone 2 must be 350...500 °C.

-

Continue to maintain speed at 1800...2200 rpm until specification "B1-S1 OK" appears in display zone 4.

If the specifications are obtained:

-

Release accelerator pedal and brake pedal.

-

Press -> key.

-

Press keys 0 and 6 for function "End output" and confirm entry with Q key.

-

Switch ignition off.

If the specifications are not attained:

-

Road test vehicle to free oxygen sensor of possible residues and repeat test.

Observe the valid safety precautions when carrying out a road test. See: Service Precautions/Technician Safety Information 

If the specifications are again not attained:

-

Replace heated oxygen sensor -G39-.

-

Check DTC Memory, if necessary, repair any malfunctions and then Erase DTC Memory,Checking and Erasing DTC Memory. Refer to
"Displaying and Reading Trouble Codes/With Manufacturer's Scan Tool/Check DTC Memory (Function 02)" See: Testing and
Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes/Reading Diagnostic Trouble Codes/With Manufacturer's Scan Tool/DTC Memory
Checking and Erasing/Check DTC Memory (Function 02)

Read readiness code. If DTC memory has been erased or engine control module was disconnected from permanent positive, readiness code must
be generated again: Refer to Monitors, Trips and/or Drive Cycle (Readiness Codes)/With Manufacturer's Scan Tool/Displaying and Creating
Readiness Codes/Readiness Code, Reading" See: Testing and Inspection/Monitors, Trips, Drive Cycles and Readiness Codes

Oxygen Sensor (O2S) And Oxygen Sensor Control Before Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC), Checking

NOTE:

Vehicle must be raised before connector for oxygen sensor is accessible.

-

When servicing terminals in harness connector of Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S), use only gold-plated terminals.
