Press keys 0, 3 and 4 for "Display group number 34" and confirm entry with Q key.
Indicated on display: (1...4 = Display zones)

Depress brake pedal and hold.

Press accelerator pedal to wide open throttle position.
The engine speed is increased by the control module to 1800...2200 rpm.

Maintain engine speed at 1800...2200 rpm until display in display zone 4 jumps from "Test OFF" to "Test ON". Catalyst temperature in display
zone 2 must be 350...500 °C.

Continue to maintain speed at 1800...2200 rpm until specification "B1-S1 OK" appears in display zone 4.
If the specifications are obtained:

Release accelerator pedal and brake pedal.

Press -> key.
-
Press keys 0 and 6 for function "End output" and confirm entry with Q key.

Switch ignition off.
If the specifications are not attained:
-
Road test vehicle to free oxygen sensor of possible residues and repeat test.
Observe the valid safety precautions when carrying out a road test. See: Service Precautions/Technician Safety Information
If the specifications are again not attained:
-
Replace heated oxygen sensor -G39-.

Check DTC Memory, if necessary, repair any malfunctions and then Erase DTC Memory,Checking and Erasing DTC Memory. Refer to

Vehicle must be raised before connector for oxygen sensor is accessible.

When servicing terminals in harness connector of Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S), use only gold-plated terminals.
