Using screwdriver, carefully pry off speaker cover.

Remove four screws and pull speaker from door panel.

Remove connector.
Installing
-
Install in reverse order of removal noting installation marks on speaker.

Install speaker cover with mark (arrow) at bottom.
Rear Tweeter, Removing and Installing
Rear tweeter (Jetta from 1996 m.y.), removing and installing
Removing
-
Using screwdriver, carefully pry out speaker -1-.
-
Disconnect harness connector -2-.
Installing
-
Connect harness connector to speaker.

Push tweeter into place.
