7. Hook attachment parts onto release shaft lever (image shows vehicle without balance weight).
8. Suspend the clutch cable in wire holder.
9. Install the over-center spring. See: Clutch Pedal Assembly
10. Remove the retaining strap.
11. Check the operation of the adjustment mechanism. Refer to Clutch Cable Adjustment Mechanism, See: Adjustments
NOTE: No other cable (throttle cable, etc.) is to be attached to the clutch cable using a tie strap or any other type of securing device. This could
result in the clutch cable failing to operate properly.
