Triple Rotor (Tripod) Type Inner Joint
Axle shafts with triple-rotor joints are installed on vehicles with 4-cylinder engine and automatic transmission. These joints have three offset rollers
instead of six balls. The rollers are offset 120° and installed in a triangular star carrier.
